Announces Opening of New Molding Facility in Lewisburg, TN

TEC AIR, Inc. of Willow Springs, IL announced today that it will open a new injection molding facility in Lewisburg, TN. The facility will operate under the name TEC AIR TN, Inc. and will mold precision parts for the automotive and appliance industries.

TEC AIR TN will be located at 891 Industrial Drive in the industrial park in Lewisburg, TN. The facility will consist of 63,000 sq ft of manufacturing, lab and office space. All new molding equipment is being purchased to establish a World Class state-of-the-art molding facility.

TEC AIR TN will focus on precision molded parts that are peripheral to TEC AIR's air movement niche market. Specifically, TEC AIR TN will mold doors, levers, housings, fan shrouds and venturi rings for the automotive industry and housings, shrouds, venturi rings and other peripherals for the appliance industry. In addition, TEC AIR TN will focus on precision molded parts for regional industries near its plant such as: residential furnaces, room air conditioners, computers and automotive assemblers.

TEC AIR TN will be in production in the 2nd quarter of 2000 and plans to achieve QS9000 and ISO9002 registration by the 4th quarter.

TEC AIR TN will be a certified minority owned business enterprise and all products manufactured at TEC AIR TN will qualify towards minority supplied content.
