Announces the purchase of 8 new Van Dorn
Injection Molding Machines

TEC AIR, Inc. announces the purchase of 8 new Van Dorn Injection Molding machines for use in the Willow Springs, IL and Lewisburg, TN facilities. These machines range in size from 85 tons to 230 tons. The new machines were purchased to help support the new business TEC AIR, Inc. has received in the appliance and automotive markets.

TEC AIR, Inc. has manufactured injection molding air movement components and systems for over 30 years. TEC AIR was recently recommended for registration as a QS 9000 and ISO 9002 facility. Bob McMurtry, President of TEC AIR, Inc. said "TEC AIR's commitment to quality will now be demonstrated by our Registration to QS 9000 and ISO 9002."

TEC AIR, Inc. is continually updating and improving it's facilities and has recently opened a new facility in Lewisburg, TN. TEC AIR TN will begin production in August 2000. This facility will focus on precision molded parts that are peripheral to TEC AIR's air movement niche market. Specifically, TEC AIR TN will mold doors, levers, housings, fan shrouds and venturi rings for the automotive industry and housing, shrouds, venturi rings and other peripherals for the appliance industry.
